Apostrophe lesson

Ok girls, the teacher in me is coming out full force. I love you all DEARLY but the over use of the apostrophe is making me crazy.

So here is a quick guide:
there is no apostrophe is Cds or STDs or anything that is not possessive. If you are speaking in plural then there is no apostrophe needed.

I SWEAR i am NOT trying to be a know-it-all. I am really being sorta silly bc i think it's crazy that I notice these things. Please DO NOT take offense bc most are probably in error bc we all type fast etc. Im just CRAZY!!!

DONT BE MAD AT ME!! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!! Im in a silly mood tonight and I guess i feel bad for the apostrophe. Poor little guy- he isnt being used like he is supposed to!!!

I know the feeling. I still try to teach my friends the difference between there, their, and they're. Silly little quirks.

I am guilty of typos all the time and yet I was an English major!! Go figure!!!

Even though there is a spell check option, you have to remember, how many people do you really think utilize it?

Lol, you girls are too funny!!!!!!!

I feel your pain, I do it all the time. I can't stand errors in emails especially. Don't you reread what you write? Esp in business? Not only am I a certified teacher but part of my job is to proof read, so that's a double whammy!

I love the Friends episode when Ross yells at Rachel: YOU'RE is you are, YOUR is your!!!

Girls,
I am SOOO happy that you're all having fun w/ this post. I was so afraid you were going to think it was obnoxious b/c that certainly was not my intent.

While Im at it, I will add:

TOO- means also
'I am going to the movies too'

THEIR- possession- something owned by 'them'. 'Let's go over to their house'
