I sent out my invites...we are going to Aruba on our HM.

No...he basically said I should call a few weeks before the wedding to go over the details. My plan is to call all my vendors about 1 month before to make all the final arrangements. But...I might change my centerpieces...and I sent him a picture to give me a price.

Just wanted to say that I picked up my invitations from the engraver, and bought the million stamps I need to mail them!

I will be sending them out tomorrow. Phew, now I'll be more caught up to you guys!!

Congrats! I think this is the most fun part of the whole planning process so far! I can't wait to get home to see if there's any mail!!!

Yes. You can get it 60 days before the wedding.

Yes...I am 99.9% sure they are valid for 60 days and you must get them at least 24 hours before the actual wedding.

ARGH! I got two returned invitations with what must be the wrong address! I think I might just hand deliver them. The post office really does a number on the outside of the envelope. You could never try to reuse them. Oh well!

If you are close to these people...I would definately hand deliver them...explain what happened...I'm sure they will be fine with that.

I wouldn't sweat it at all. Things like that happen all the time. And look at it this way--
At least you know that they didn't get the invites yet! It cuts out the awkwardness of calling them and asking them if they responded... and then the 'what? you didn't get our invite?' game.

Well, my fellow April brides, I had my shower on Saturday!!! I was sooooo surprised. It was wonderful, my mom threw it for me, I can't believe I had no idea!!!
