I saw it too...but we just have to wait until it gets closer to find out the real deal. Don't panic...

I think it's better to call.
Maybe you can get some family members to help? My FMIL is calling her side that didn't respond.

i agree as well with the calling instead of email.

As for the Farmer's Almanac... that book was probably written a year 1/2 ago! That weather prediction can't be factual.

UGH!!! Ok...so I call one of the people....RSVP date was March 10th by the way...today is March 15. She tells me she's trying to figure out if they are going to Europe since the kids are off from school...she will get back to me in a couple of days!!!! Can you belive this? She has had months to decide (she got an STD in October and an invite in February). Some people have some nerve!!!!

Wait...I have a better one!!! When I was having trouble finding someone to do my make-up...a girl that works for me said, she would do it. I half jokingly said ok (thank god I found someone else). Anyway...she hasn't sent back her RSVP yet...so I ask her if she is coming. She says she doesn't think so because her husband won't go with her and she doesn't want to come alone. She will know people...all my work people are sitting at the same table. Thank god I didn't take her word for her doing my make-up or I'd be totally stuck. What is wrong with people!!!

I don't want to seem self-centered, but I find it a little unbelievable sometimes how causally people treat this.

From my family we are waiting on 29 people!!!! My goodness-- it's MEEEEE! their friggin' relative!!!! not some shmoe friend!!

I'm SO playing dirty.

I have so learned who my friends are throught this experience. I have 1 friend...we went on vacation together a few years ago...I lent her money for the vacation (she said she would pay me before we left). It's 2 years later...I haven't seen a dime. She didn't come to the shower...she's not coming to the wedding either. But...when I lived in Bayside, I was always the one to call when it was time to go somewhere (I had a car...she didn't). Aftet this...I'm losing her number!

My other friend flew in from Ohio...for the afternoon...to attend my shower. That's my real friend. I'm so tired of this crap.

Cheryl...I'm right there with ya...wait til I have to respond to one of these people!!

Where is everyone staying for their wedding night? We're staying Sat. night at the Inn at Fox Hollow.
