Hi Ladies. Did everyone send out their invitations? Where is everyone going on their HM?

I sent out my invites...we are going to Aruba on our HM.

We are staying at the Wyndam (sp?) in Islandia. I will be there the night before, and he will join me on our wedding night!

We decided to go home, that way we save a little extra money and leave the next morning.

I guess none of us will be at the same place. I was wondering if we would bump into one another. Are you guys going to start making calls soon? I only have 6 rsvps that I didn't get back, but 3 of them are in the bridal party. I kind of thought that they would be the first to respond, but I guess not. I know they're coming so it's not a big deal. I just don't understand why they couldn't send the cards back.

Well it's 4 days after our rsvp date and the responses are STILL trickling in. I got 3 back yesterday! So we're going to give them the benefit of the doubt and wait to the last minute.

Oh and PS--- Tonight is my baccholrette party!!! YAY! should be good times! I'll be sure to take some pics with my digital camera so I can post them for you guys.

Cheryl, how was your bachelorette party?

I just wanted to add a picture of my new veil (well same veil, smaller bow). And I'm wearing the earrings I'll wear (borrowing from my mom who wore them to her wedding)....

no bachelorette party for me. my MOH and 1 bridesmaid are out of town, so my one local bridesmaid is taking me to dinner at ruby foo's in times square next week. it should be fun!

i used to LOVE going to culture club, and i always saw bride-to-be there. if i were having a BP, that's where i'd go!

No bachelorette party for me either. I'm not having a bridal party, just my mom as MOH, so I can't see her getting together something like that! But thats okay, I don't need one!!

Hi girls...no BP for me either. I only have a MOH (my sister) and I just didn't want anything big. We might go out to dinner and the movies with my cousins on the Thursday before the wedding...just to relax a little.

This weeked, I got all my favors done, began working on the seating chart and picked up my dress!

We are going to get our marriage license on Friday.

I'll admit it... I LOVE to be in the spotlight! I'm close with my girls from college (my soro. sisters) so it was just like back in college! So that's why I was so happy to have a BP.

I was pretty much hung over on Sun. so we didn't get much wedding related stuff done this weekend... but on the other hand... our house came a long way this weekend... we are almost up to getting the wood floors done- then painting!

I'm lucky b.c our mothers INSIST in doing their own seating charts... which is fine with me! I just have to do the seating cards. I still have to meet with our priest , see a sample centerpiece, do a must play list, do a must take pic list and go over limo details again. Then I have a whole list of things that were ordered, but need to be picked up (our rings, bridal party gifts, parent gifts, wedding cake card holder)

I was just talking to my co-worker about that. I'm VErrrrrry pale w/ reddish hair and freckles and I don't want to look different from how I normally look.
But then I'm worried for Hawaii- i dont' want to fry. I was thinking of going on the Mondays.. the 5th and the12th and not staying in the room long. maybe 5 min each session.

I went once for 7 min and got burnt! <--like this!

My BP is going to be 4/3. i'm so excited. we're going to birdy's and to the culture club and staying in a hotel afterwards. I started tanning about a week and a half ago. I usually go in the regular beds and I would get red-I have very fair skin and freckles too. But, this time I have been using the better beds that are supposed to only be browning not reddening. They're nice too because you don't have to go in as long. I think the max is 10 min. I've gone 3 times so far and I have a little bit of color. First I did 7 min, then 10 the next 2 times. I didn't burn at all and believe me I have VERY pale skin. I don't really want to be tan, just not ghostly white. And it really makes a difference if you don't want to burn on your HM.

I was just talking about this too. I want to go a few times...no so much to tan...but not to look so ghostly white. I was thiking of going 3 times...and the last time would be Thursday before the wedding. I guess I should start soon.
