Amazing how fast this post came up and now all that stressing, preping, and planning is done. CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!!
WISHING YOU ALL A LIFETIME OF LOVE, HAPPINESS, and HEALTH. As we start to stray from the boards I will remember how you all helped me and we were going through the same things together. Thanks! Congratulations Newlyweds!!!!!!!!
Best of luck for a future filled with love and happiness

I figured everyone else's month pops up why not ours...
Ok ladies where are we with planning and getting things out.
Please don't ask me..I am so behind. I am off work for the summer and now have no money for deposits on anything so I am waiting.
I have Duet -photo & Video and that's about it...I have all these little ideas swirling in my head though.
oh I am sending my STD's out late Aug.

What is everyone else up to?

Re: April 2006 girls Welcome

Nothing big done for us yet. We're waiting to save up a little bit of cash to book our HM which is decided...just need to put down the deposit.

We're second guessing our Limo Choice b/c the Limo company is a client that does advertising with FI, but Double Diamond is offerring us more for about $50 more of the price. I think we might switch...waiting to get final response from FI.

However, I did a lot of 'small' item purchases this week:
- 'We Do' letters
- photo frames for the photo cube/box
- organza bags for the slipper basket
- 4 wicker baskets to hold the rose petal cones/programs, slippers, and two bathroom baskets
- a Huge Brandy glass for the 'Wish' Bowl'
- Bought a cake topper to decorate the cake table with from ebay

Here's a couple of pics...everything was sooooo inexpensive at Walmart's that I couldn't resist.

The organza bags (not pictured) are from Pouchmart (thanks to Sasha, somethingblu)

Re: April 2006 girls Welcome

Is anyone my date twin? My FH and I have a silly sense of humor. Once we found out April Fools Day was a Saturday, we went for it!

Right now I'm waiting for my bridesmaids to get their measurements to order the dresses. I like doing things ahead of time, but I wasn't sure if any would be pregnant, so we waited.

We booked everything back in November 2004, so I'm feeling pretty dandy. Well, the honeymoon couldn't be booked til April of this year. We are going to Sandals in St. Lucia.

I actually have had my dress in my possesion since March, so I'm dying to finally get it altered and get going with this. And I need to get my bra and shoes soon.

OK Ladies, I guess I have been hiding long enough! Yes, I am an April Bride but you wouldn't know it by the amount of vendors I have booked. As of right now I have booked the hall and that's it.

I am going into RK Bridal today and I have an appointment with a DJ tomorrow and a Photographer on 9/14. I will catch up, I promise.

You're a brave girl I pretty much wanted a Sunday wedding, but what sealed the deal was when I saw that April Fools fell on the 1st. My FI has a sick sense of humor and I didn't want to tempt him on our wedding day. Anywho, congrats

Hey!! No I didn't take pics cause it said not too...I am such a goodie goodie
It is a Paloma Blanca and all the pics I have of it are not good, It has crystals and some work on the top and bottom of dress. I am going back to RK Bridal on Oct. 2 to put the deposit down on mine and going with the no frills program for my BM dresses.

Re: April 2006 girls Welcome

Finally!!! I got the BM dresses done....sort of!!

I got 2 of the BMs, 1 Jr. BM and my FG deposits done. Now I need the measurements and deposits for my MOH who just moved upstate today and a pregnant BM who is on bedrest.

The salon I went to was completely disorganized and they seriously need some knowledgeable help there!! But supposedly it's better during the week. I shall found out this week when I speak to the owner on Tuesday.

Now we're onto limos and already narrowing the choices for our HM!!

YAY!!

Oh yeah and I got the picture frames that I'm going to use for the table numbers....for $1 each!! They look like they cost a lot more!

Wish me luck!

ps. please post a picture of the dress (even if it is from their web site).
