I have everything booked except for the transportation. I still need to buy my centerpieces and the Usher gifts. That's all

OK girls! It has been days since I have been on here and weeks since I have been in a wedding planning mood..HELP!!
I plan on getting things done in Oct but I am so sick of the planning and wedding stress I am busy with work and school stress.
Anyone else not in the wedding mood??? Sorry to be such a downer
I still have my save the dates sitting here waiting to be mailed....is it too late now?????

I'm definitely at a stand still right now. I have everything booked that needs to be booked.

I think if you want to mail your stds, you should do it soon. Six months is practically here!

Same here. I'm kind of at a stand still. More because of indecisions than anything else!!

The only thing I have gotten accomplished in the past 2 weeks getting some of the BM dresses finally ordered, ordering the wedding bands and narrowing our choices for the HM. I am still clueless about what limo to use!!!

I am going to mail my Save the Date Magnets in December with my holiday cards. Of course, some people might think I am a bad measure of when to get things done.



BTW- I was dress shopping yesterday and a girl came in who was looking for the first time and her wedding is 2/18/06. She made me feel like I was ahead of the game!

I bought my dress today at Kleinfelds!

Our friend who owns 1800tuxedo is taking care of us and told us that we should wait until AFTER the Holiday's to order tuxes. He said 3 months is more than enough time.

i just read that a month or two before is more then enough time for tuxes!!! so, im thinking maybe we'll start looking in dec or jan...

I am planning on doing this with 4 months left. Right now we are just shy of 7 months to go.

Waiting until after the holidays sounds like a great idea to me!

Just filling you in.
My mom finally got her dress!
Made appts for Invitations and makeup trials.

OMG, when I see all of the things you ladies have done, makes me crazy

Most of the things I have decided on, but budget is running very tight so we've had to make a few changes, but here is where we are:

Church: Booked - St. Roberts, looking into Precana now
Hall: Booked - Villa Barone Manor
DJ: Booked - Sonido con Clase
Limos: Booked - Top class, but may go with someone else
Photo&Video: Ariana Studios - booking at end of the week
Invitations: Have decided, will order soon
Favors: Have decided, will order soon
Dress: Have decided, going shopping at the end of the month
BM Dresses: Have decided, going shopping at the end of the month
BP: All asked and agreed
Tuxedos: Have decided, will order as soon as BM order their dresses, so we can match the colors for tie & vest
Flowerist: Westchester Floral - Booked, but we may have to change the flowers & CP since our budget is getting tight, we may not be able to afford our original choices,
Headpiece, veil, underwear: Will decide once I purchase dress
Honeymoon: Sandals Regency in St. Lucia, will book by end of the week (hopefully )

I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of stuff, but off the top of my head, that's what I can think of.

Since we're paying for everything ourselves, our progress is limited to our finances, so we'll be moving very slowly.

Pray for us that we can get everything done and paid for!!!

Relax, Weekend Twin, we will all get it done in time.

We finally got our limos!!! Yay!!! All the vendors are done!!!

Now we're on to the honeymoon, and FH is getting annoyed everytime I think of another place. He's at the point of saying 'just pick a place already, and let's just book it!!'

Damn it, this is supposed to be a once in a lifetime trip, and I'm supposed to just book the first place that pops in my head???

On another note, we booked our hotel for Thanksgiving weekend to visit his family. His mother offered to do the calligraphy on the invitations, so I thought this might be a good time to do it. But would that be screwed up of me?
