Inspired by luvsun27's 4/17 post, where are my fellow April 25th brides? How much stuff do you have left to do?

I booked my makeup this weekend, which was a relief. Things really seem to be coming together. Still lots to do, but there is still a good amount of time...wow, I really can't believe there's only like 80 days left. I can remember when it was 400+.

How's everyone else doing?

i put together my invites this weekend. i think i'm going to send them out the weekend of v-day.

Did any of you girls pick out your bridal party gifts? what did you get them?

The gifts for my bridal party was the jewelry to match their dresses.

So far I got the BP crystal necklaces and earrings. Hope to get them something in addition to that.

Hi -

Just wondering where you all are on your invitations? I've been seeing that the 4/16, 4/17 brides have sent theirs out and already got some responses!

Have you sent them out yet? Mine still have to be assembled - I was planning to send them out next week. My response date is 3/25

I just sent my invitations out on Tuesday, people are already calling me that got them the next day!! I totally had a panic attack when I went to the Post Office, reality set in that I AM GETTING MARRIED! I can't wait to start getting responses.
I have an appointment with Flower Michele tomorrow night to do our sample centerpiece, and an appointment next friday to finalize the menu, linens etc. with Giorgios.
It's all coming together....

I know I am the day before all of you but I sent mine out on Valentines day - They started arriving to people on Tuesday!

My FMIL bullied me into sending them out in January, but I’m actually glad we did it early. We’ve already got a bunch of replies. So far we have 46 people coming!!!

OMG - I already started getting responses yesterday, so exciting!!
I had my sample centerpiece appointment with John last night and finalized all the flower stuff.
I have an appt next Friday with Giorgios to do the menu selections so I can get them to SonicStef - she is doing my menus.
I need to make an appt with the DJ to finalize the music and for my dress fittings.

BoogieDownBride - I used to live in Florida - I LOVE Key West, the beaches were so nice.

How are you all holding up??? I keep looking at the countdown clock and saying wow how did that happen??!!

JENNCHRIS, sound slike you have a lot of stuff done! And thanks for your feedback on Key West!

I am holding up okay, kinda freaking out that this is all fast approaching...

I had my hair trial last weekend, and loved it, so that is one more thing out of the way.

This weekend we're working hard to do a lot of research for the HM, since we haven't booked anything yet. But I think we decided on the Aruba hotel (Bucuti) and now I have to decide about Key West, so if anyone has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it...

Haven't done anything with menus yet, but I am dying to pick out the food!

I found this post buried on page 5!

So how is everyone holding up? Our responses are coming back slowly but at least they're coming in - it's nice to go home to mail that isn't bills...

Tomorrow we are going for our marriage license, it's a day I can take off work so we're doing it.

Still working on my programs - will post some photos when they are done.

Going to look for shoes today - I'm not in love with the pair I have and my first fitting is next week.

Anyone else care to share?

Glad to hear things are coming along, Donna.

So far, I have 60 people coming to the wedding, halfway to my minimum. My MFIL wants me to invite more people, but I honestly don’t know how many more I can come up with.

We’re selecting our menu next week, and I was supposed to go for my first fitting tonight, but am moving it to next week. I don’t have my shoes or undergarments yet!

We booked our HM this week, which was a big weight taken off…it was the last of the “big” things to do…

Still need to take care of jewelry (wedding rings and my own jewelry), favors, finish buying BP gifts, finalize with DJ and photographer, create menus and programs…the little things are tough!

How are all the other 4/25 (and 4/24) brides holding up?

How are you ladies doing with your responses? I'm starting to get annoyed that they aren't coming in as quick as I'd like them to. I know they still have 2 more weeks but most of them know they're coming, just send it in!!....

I know! We stamped them for you - what's the problem We have 100 responses, almost all yeses, we are waiting for 113 more people!!!!
I have my fitting this Saturday. I got all the maps and directions out to the vendors. Now I'm just working on putting together the favors (still!) and I have to finalize things with the DJ. Confirmed and finalized the HM too - Woo hoo! St Lucia here we come
