Yup The place I ordered them from, the lady decided the dates for me and I was like ok...haha She is awesome.

i am SOOO pissed!

FH and I ordered our invites BEFORE thanksgviing from someone my Dad knows.......they said it would be a week. Well after calling and calling, (and getting multiple excuses) 2 weeks ago, they told us they would be in by today. They BETTER be in!! but i am afraid to call b/c if they are not i am seriously going to FLIP out!!! Normally i would not have let that fly, but being that they were helping us out with the cost and my dad is friends with the guy, I didnt want to be a B*tch about it. But.....wouldnt you think, knowing that him and my dad are friends, that would make him more concerned with our order??? I guess not....

We need to send them, and it takes time to have the calligraphy done.

By the way...our wedding is 4/12, RSVP 3/12
at least we already sent out STDs to most of our guests....

WOW thats annoying. Sometimes you think people would try to hurry up or do a better job since they know you but I guess that's not the case at all.
I hope they're here today!!

the funny thing is, when FH called back in December the guy was like, 'wait when is your wedding..oh you have plenty of time anyway'.....EXCUSE ME...who are YOU to tell me we have PLENTY of time!!! I really think they just forgot about our order and when finally my dad called was when it was placed.

That is not right. They told you when you would have them by and you should of had them then. What if your dad didn't know them and you were just a regular customer. Its not right.

Wedding April 12th
RSVP March 9th
Invites going out Jan 22nd

i'm sending them out btwn 01/28 and 01/31 with an RSVP date of 03/05...that'll give me a little cushion for the lazy repliers!

ours are going out feb 1

So....my Dad just went to the store to find out about my invites....apparantly they are exxpected to be in by 1/23!!!! OMG i am SOOOO mad!!! it's prob gunna take a few weeks to get the calligraphy done, the store keeps changing when they are 'supposed to be in by'......what if they arent even in by THEN!?

I wouldn't 'panic' until Feb 1st. You can get them out right away, giving plenty of time for an RSVP...
If they don't have them in by then, that still gives you a little bit of time to cancell their A$$ES and find someone else to do them...fast!

thanks....trying not to panic...i just told FH and he is ready to go down there....i told him not to, like you said...as long as we have them by Feb 1st (although i really want to send them out by then)....we should be ok
