April/May Brides

What are you up to these days?

This weekend, I'm hoping to get the tuxes selected, pickup our wedding bands, get the GM cufflinks engraved, and work on the song list for the DJ.

This weekend...Order the invites and agree and book Honeymoon (yes we are very late on these )

Next weekend-First fitting, tasting, and engagement pictures!

Wahoo...I like crossing things off my list and the next two weeks are biggies!

for the next few weeks, NOTHING!

this weeken FI is working, and next weekend, I will be flying out to Israel for my brothers wedding. Thus, until March 10th, I am totally not doing ANYTHING for my wedding!!!!

I have so much to do! And so little time!

Hoping to select the tuxes too this weekend. Other than that, just working on preparing those little details -- petal cones, favors, OOT bags, etc...some of which still can't be done until the end.

With the exception of the int'l invites (that just went out a couple of days ago), the remainder of the invites go out on Monday! OMG....then reality about this day coming sinks in

I think maybe now that I think of it, Kevin and I may look at shirt and ties for the guys. We are doing suits instead of tuxes. It costs less.

this month has been sorta slow-- lots of little details though-- talking a lot with my hotel since guests have started to book, arranged to have my ketubah filled out..

Next week I have my first fitting and my final hair and make-up trial- to finalize my wedding day look- sh*t,that means I need to make a decision Still not sure what to do.. Oh, and meeting with the band the end of the month.

March- is MAYHEM... I have appts all weekend, every weekend.. final/follow up appts with all my vendors, etc.

It's crunch time!!

We are buying our wedding bands this weekend...or at least try to order them. We are going to a family jeweler.
FH has to go for tux and the ushers as well. And I have little details to take care of...like programs, rose cones, menus...etc...
And finishing up to put all the invitations to send out(I'm sending mine 8 weeks before) and ofcourse...buy the stamps...

We're working on addressing the invites....we want to order our rings and we have to figure out our flowers (we still havent done that yet!! help!! We're so late on that...) plus we want to book the place for the RD....we should get a lot done on our days off....

typing up the wedding list this wknd, so GOD WILLING my envelopes will be ready, i got my invites already, but they didnt put the liner in, so THEY BETTER HAVE IT ON TUESDAY THE LATEST! My goal is to mail them on 2/28 or 3/1...hoping for no later.

I am making our table name cards. Other than that, I have nothing else wedding related to do. Believe it or not I am done!

All I am waiting to do is put the favor bags together.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot, I have a hair trial on 3/11. And I am waiting for sample CPs, but that wont be until late next month.

NEXT WEEK I AM OFF FROM WORK SO I HAVE WEDDING APPOINTMENTS EVERYDAY.

We are going to get our rings, book our limos, my first dress fitting, meeting with photographer and my first hair trail. Also Monday is craft day with all my BMs. We are doing, petal cones, place cards and wrapping chocolate bars and maybe program if I get them done this weekend.

I have a lot to do and not alot of time. I know everyone feels this way. But each day I remind myself what I have done so far and how organized I am so I know every thing will get done!!

Mailing the invites tomorrow, next week we go plan our menu and as far as all the other details, here's what I have left: favors, tuxes, bm gifts, pre-cana (mid-march) and a few other small things

this weekend we'll be assembling our invites, now that the ribbon finally arrived.

I also got my gable boxes for the OOT gifts, and I'd like to get my labels and ribbon for that done. Also I plan on finishing up our photo cube card box.

We met with our hall today to do the menu and linens, cake, ect ect. That was fun :)

It all feels like it's going to actually come together. I say this today, but could feasibly change my mind at any time ;)

On Monday, I'm going to view my dress.
On Tuesday, I'm having a makeup trial.

We just sent out our invites and received 4 responses back already! It is beyond exciting.

The rest of the time, I'm going to nag my FH until he goes shopping to pick out the tuxes he wants.

I am also off for the week.

Today I ordered the girls gifts, paid off the photographer, and we did tuxes.

I am meeting with my coordinator on Monday.

By the end of the week, I hope to also finish making all of the menus, and make the donation to Adephi breast cancer program for my favor.

I can't believe how quickly time has moved. For so long, we were at a lull in planning with the wedding far off but now I'm as busy as past brides told me I would eventually be. Even though it gets so stressful at times, I wouldn't change it for the world
