it seems like a great idea- they help the day run smoothly- you give them all the contracts, phone numbers and they handle any issues and also can help with set-up.... my aunt is acting as mine to help me since as much as we would love to have one, its just not in the budget

I hired one a few weeks ago. I tend to get really stressed to the point of physical illness so I decided that i needed to splurge and hire one. I don't think they're very necessary but I thought it was needed for me.
eta: I think I'm paying $550 for a basic package
I have one also. I have too much anxiety to have to deal with anything that day

Not me. For me I don't think it's worth the extra expense when I barely have it. I'm too laid back to worry about anything and I have other people who can help me out so I'm not too worried about that.

Thanks! They offer a higher priced package that includes a lot more but the basic package was fine for me. I'm so embarassed because I don't remember who I hired, I think it was exquisite affairs
eta: ok I checked my e-mail and it was exquisite affairs! I am doing the something in blue package

I will be my own DOC. Plus I'll have my sis (MOH) to help. I'm the kinda of person that needs to know what's going on and be in charge. I don't get stressed about it, I just get it done or delegate, so I think I'll be okay.

I'm having one...i used Perfect Wedding Planner from the Scotto Brothers....we'll see how they go! They're a vendor on here now!
