Re: Are bubbles played out?
I wanted to use silk rose petals, and I'm still planning on it, but we may use bubbles as well. Simce the ceremony will be outdoors, I'm just worried about silk rose petals blowing all over the place. I love how they look for photos, so I may have a few bundles of then and then bubbles for everyone else.

Re: Are bubbles played out?
i thought bubbles were alittle doen, but I've only been to 2 weddign withthe. and msot of our families haven't been to weddigns ina while & probably never heard of it. Bubbles do look nice in pictures though.
I've never see rose petals done, but it seems like its the new bubbles. I'd do it if we are allowed. Other wise we may skip it all together.

Re: Are bubbles played out?
I was at a wedding last weekend, so many women were running away from bubbles, thinking it would ruin the dress they were wearing. We did the streamers since we were told it was ok considering they stayed attached.
Here are two pics to show you! We loved them and they were so much fun for us.

Re: Are bubbles played out?
been reading about concerns with fake rose petals or wilting rose petals - anything think of using freeze dried that is what we are getting

We are using bubbles and leaves. We are having a fall themed wedding and FI's sister thought leaves would be a cute idea. IMO, I like the look of bubbles

Re: Are bubbles played out?
I wanted to use rose petals but the church won't allow it. I am aganist bird seed only because I really don't want to find bird seed in strange places. ( have a friend who used brid seed and it got everywhere in her hair bra etc) SO I'm using bubbles I think they look great in pics. I think that there are only so many things left to throw at the bride and groom IMO I like bubbles neat, clean and looks great in pics!

Re: Are bubbles played out?
We had bubbles and rose petals...however, no one ever got the instructions to hand them out (long story)...so neither was actually used.

Re: Are bubbles played out?
I have heard that bubbles can stain a brides dress. I wouldn't use them, just because they can get messy and drip all over peoples clothes. I love the ribbon wand idea, but is that too Trista & Ryan?
