Are/Did you carry a handbag at your wedding?

I figured that I didn't need any kind of handbag, b/c anything I need, like hairspray, lipstick, etc, will be in the bridal room, and that's where I will go to use the bathroom and fix myself up. Then I spoke to my sister, and she seemed to think I needed one - she used one at her wedding. I still don't really think it's necessary. What do you girls think?

i got a ral small one to carry little stuff. but it mostly stayed in the bridal suite.
a few guest asked for it to put there cards in and i said nicly that i will just hold on to it untill i can get to the bird cage!

I just packed a regular bag with hairspray, make-up, perfume, gum etc. and had my MOH carry it into the bridal suite. I wasn't about to spend more money on a white handbag that I would probably never use again.

My dress comes with one so I will be using it. I think it will mainly stay in the bridal suite.

oops...I thought you meant a bag to carry the envelopes....so i voted no.

But, I actually did carry a little bag with lipstick and compact. Mine came with my dress.

I got a small one to carry my make-up, a little extra cash and my Sprees. It stayed in the bridal suite all night.

i bought a small one at tri county flea market for $10 or so (maybe less!) that was very plain - i wanted ot have my lipstick close so i could throw it on quick if needed....and i did wind upo doing it - but if you feel you dont want one, skip it....!

my FI's grandmother actually gave me the little white satin purse she used when she got married. It is so cute -- a place for lipstick, perfume, a compact, and a mirror. WHo knows if I will use it, but it will be great just to have it with me that day.

if the one that i have that was my grandmother's matches my dress i will probably use it, but if not then i will just have a regular bag with my stuff in it....
