Are people jealous or is it just me?

Ok I finally sent out my invites - on saturday - and one of my friends kept on asking me about them and im like you'll see them when they get mailed out - so this morning im like did you get the invite yesterday? and shes like yeah i did, i forgot to tell you. & THATS IT - nothing like, oh they're nice or anything ---
but not to say anything just kinda pissed me off.
- and i really think my invites are nice, they were different --- pic in my album

i know some people are jealous/mad/bitter that you spend x amount of $'s on something that is totally stupid like invites & i think that this has something to do with it

ok im done

final conclusion ---- she didnt like them

Well I wouldnt want people to LIE to me to make me feel ok with what I am doing. I agree w cresentbride maybe she didnt like them and didnt want to say.
I agree that people get jealous too, but remember as long as YOU like it, it is your day, you shouldnt need the approval of other people. Just sit back and enjoy

Dont be concerned with them. Plenty of people will love them!

yeah i did say that - i was just pissed off - you know when you're mad and you're venting - that was me!
but you ladies helped me get over it really quickly!

Great gabbie dont let it get to you! Are alot of girls geting married around this single girl? I have one single bm who was excited when i was just talking, but then i started doing and buying things and she kind of backed off a bit. One of my bms mentioned shes just down thats shes the only one not in a reltaionship or getting married..I cant take it personal.

Besides no one should p*ss you off right before your wedding

Don't pay any attention to people like that..it's not worth your time..

I stopped by a Papyrus store yesterday and glanced at the invitations they had...I saw a sample of yours and they are beautiful!

to you, your invitation is amazing (which it shoud be - its your wedding) to other people - it eventually will end up in their garbage so keep that in perspective.....she totally could have been being an A-hole or maybe she just didnt realize how important the invitation was to you....either way - in the grand scheme of things its only an invitation....dont sweat the small stuff glad you are over it!

I don't think she doesn't like them I just think a lot of people don't care about invites. I do because I am a Graphic Designer so I always look but, most ppl barely look at them. I mean think back to when you got a invite did you really care? I don't think its anything personal. I even have ppl in the bridal party that are like whatever about everything and its really annoying.

People are just jealous!

I know when I sent out mine one friend was like 'oh yours are so much nicer but you spent way more money on yours that's why' -when I really didn't-I was like 'whatever'.

Don't worry about it!!! You will have some people that likes it and some people don't. People have different taste and her taste could be different from yours. My mom gave a friend of hers a STD and she did not say a word. I do not care, As I said befre you will find some people and loves them and some do not. I like them!!! I think they are cute!!!!
