Are people jealous or is it just me?

Ok I finally sent out my invites - on saturday - and one of my friends kept on asking me about them and im like you'll see them when they get mailed out - so this morning im like did you get the invite yesterday? and shes like yeah i did, i forgot to tell you. & THATS IT - nothing like, oh they're nice or anything ---
but not to say anything just kinda pissed me off.
- and i really think my invites are nice, they were different --- pic in my album

i know some people are jealous/mad/bitter that you spend x amount of $'s on something that is totally stupid like invites & i think that this has something to do with it

That's ok. My FMIL RSVP'd but never called or told me when she saw me that she got it or liked it. You just have to let it go!

I figure she doesn't like them, but fh and I do so...poo poo to her and your friend!!

there are some people who jus always have the comparison clock going in their head. its unfortunately but its true.

that's what I felt like with my std's so many people didn't say anything um like my FMIL...is that normal?

I don't know what the relationship dynamic is between you and your friend, but it's jumping to conclusions to automatically assume that she is jealous of you. On LIW, jealousy gets attributed to everyone who isn't as thrilled with our weddings as we are. Weddings are so personal, a simple disagreement in taste can hurt. It's easy to lash out and say disagreements are due to envy when it's not certain that's true.

I think your invitations and STDs are pretty. But the real question is, do you and your FH like the design? That should be enough.
