So I def wanna do menus for the tables but are programs really a need to have thing!!!!!

Nah, I think it's totally up to the couple. If you have time to make them or the money to have someone do them, than sure, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

Personally I don't think so.
The ceremony is pretty easy to follow and the BP is announced at the beginning of the reception.
It's a nice touch but not needed.

my sister is a graphic artisst so she can make everything I need but do I wanna spend the time on something so little that is not really needed?
plus all the money on 'the little things' is starting to add up and I would rather put that money toward my bridal party gifts

i like programs more than those personalized menu cards - think they are a waste of money.....at least you can read a program if you are bored during the ceremony - or while waiting for the bride....

My ceremony is only 15 minutes so they can read the bible if they get real bored lol the menu cards are def a waste of money but they can help dress up the table n look really pretty in a scarp book after the wedding lol
