Hey, I'm a November bride! My reception is also at the Westbury Manor

So what have you girls completed so far? (I feel so behind, all I have is the hall & church, but fortunately I have narrowed down some of the vendors that I want to check out & I've made some appts)

Hey Jodi I noticed from your profile that you are getting married on November 22 (thats the day after me!)

its cool to see that there are some other November brides on this board

isn't hard to concentrate on work when you are trying to plan for the wedding?? I just feel like my mind is going over different checklists of things I have to do & ideas that I get...

Yes, I did do the perfect wedding planner seminar. I did it in October (I think..), it was helpful in that at the time I had no clue at what I was looking for. Basically, they give you information on all the Scotto house vendors. But they do give you some helpful info about insurance....

It certainly will not hurt to go..and you can check out your room again.

I too am getting married on Sat, Nov 8th but having AM wedding

What have I done so far...

got the church - St Peters in Port Washington
reception site - Westbury Manor
photographer-Cassarino (sp?)

working on the DJ
started looking as dresses
have an appt to meet w/ Burton's Florist next weekend (heard they book up fast)

Thats about it...more than some less than others

photographer
have the CDs for the favors!

Did you all go for your dress yet?

thats pretty good, you're right its important to book some of these appts. early,

did you find Cassarino to offer some reasonable packages?

I am using Pedestals. I originally left a deposit with Burtons, but for some reason, I was not fully satisfied when I went there so I went to another florist and booked there instead.

Josie,

I thought Cassarino had wonderful package prices. I loved Razz, he was the guy that I was working with. He seemed very honest to me.

I didn't find them to be any more expensive then the rest of the photographers I went to see (and I saw 6).

They seemed to be the most honest, and didn't really try to sell me or make me put a deposit down that day. Also I liked that they give you the negatives as well as the proofs.

I WAS a 11/2/02 bride. The colors are so beautiful in November. I promise- time will fly to the big day.

I've heard good things about Burtons for Flowers & that their prices are pretty reasonable

In terms of DJs, I'm thinking of checking out 'Body Rock' or 'Spin Around Sound' , have you heard of these?

since I'm going to the seminar tonight at the Westbury Manor, I'm hoping to get more info. about Cassarino since they are a recommended vendor


I have not gotten my dress yet!! But I plan to go to RK Bridal (I have to call & make an appt. )

What about you girls? Where have you gone to look for dresses? Any info about RK Bridal?
