i think it is just personal preference and the cost factor (different places charge different prices) i dont think i am going to have it - we'll see

We are! My family loves dessert and chocolate ... and its such a nice presentation, and we thought it would really add to the wedding and end off on a fun note.

We are bc WCC threw it in! I mentioned that I was a 'dessert girl' only bc I was so excited to talk about the wedding cake....and the next thing you know...! But if we had to pay for it, we probably wouldn't have done it.

no, my hall didn't offer it... and frankly, we wouldn't have been able to afford it anyway.
honestly, i've been to weddings with it... and as cool as it is (it is an awesome sight) everyone is FULL from the cocktail hour, all the booze and the large meal.... i was not able to eat another thing and didn't even touch the VH.... it's a waste of money and food, IMO....

we're having an ice cream sundae parlor with dessert. i love ice cream!! and they threw it in!! even if we had to pay for it, we would still have it. i think on a sunday night (thats when i'm getting married) a VH would be too much.

we did vienesse trays on the table.....(cookie, mini pastries etc) that way we would have a little choice but wouldnt have to pay our dj to stay

We didn't have a full hour but we had a display and coridial bar and it went over big....At first I was going to cancel it thinking people would be too full..OMG the line was huge and people loved it

We're not, because there is so much food to begin with that I think the VH would just be too much. I have the biggest sweet tooth, so I love the idea, we just didn't think it was necessary for us since we're already having the cake, a dessert and a cordial bar.

I'm not because I think it's too much food to begin with. Wedding cake and a little pastry is enough. We can use the money elsewhere.

I didn't - I had the chocolate fountain and I did a cupcake tower in addition to the cake... it was just a personal choice.

I decided not to because we are getting married on a Friday night and the VH adds an extra hour to the party (already 7-12pm) so we are going to do Vianese trays for each table but I am adding a chocolate fountain and a cordial cart.
