no we didn't. couldn't for a daytime wedding anyway, but people have eaten so much by then that it's not necessary

I'm doing the VH but I'm keeping it contained in the 4 hour party. I'm not blowing the wedding out another hour b/c I'm afraid of people leaving early and missing out on it. I love VH!

if we had the $$ yes i would of loved to do it...but OT for my band is also $$$! Plus my wedding is over at 1am. But we are doing cookies and pastries. Fresh fruit and cake! I really wanted choc fountain tho!

My fiance and I are not having a VH.....we thought the extra money spent on that is a waste--guets are so full by that time anyways--and we don't want our guests hanging out outside of the ballroom. Usually there are chairs and tables in the VH area....We want them partying it up with us!

Karen at the VYC they do not add an extra Hour for the VH. They do it right after the cake. I want to do it. The VH is 10pp and I think the chocolate fountain is 750. I think so. So if that s the price its about the same thing maybe a bit more, but you get more.

wow this is really a hard decision!!! i love the idea of the VH but not sure if its worth it & with getting the dj an hour later- not sure if we can afford it, or do i get the choclate fountain?

We're not b/c we cant afford it. But if we had the extra $$ i would def do it! it'd be great to have an extra hour and tons of yummy desserts. I would say go for it if you can

I REALLY wanted an extra hour...when a wedding is really fun, they're over too fast - and, once you're spending all that $$$, why not make it last another 25% longer?!
So, yes, we decided to feed people more during that hour (and pay more) and have a vh....and it did cost more for the band...otherwise - all other expenses are the same...and the party goes till 1 am!

we decided to do a modified vh. each table gets trays of sweets, with out putting out a huge spread. but we are also doing the chocolate fountain so we thought that would be more than enough with the cake. hope it helps!!

We are not including it....we are trying to stay within our budget with my parents and I just can't see spending the extra money for something my guests may or may not enjoy. My father did get the chocolate fountain so we will be having that. We have also been thinking about baking homemade Christmas cookies for every table, but I think we will make up our minds on that when it gets closer to the holiday time and our own time constraints.

I am including the VH at mine. However, I am breaking it up so that a half hour is added to the cocktail hour and a half hour to the party. This way I will only have a 45 min VH. Plus, I'm providing the hall with mini containers so my guests can bring some desserts home.
