Why do I feel like some ppl on the forums are not actually brides????Has anyone ever felt this way????

I was told that vendors make fake profiles on here so they can 'RAVE' about themselves... but I think those are easy to spot.

I can totally see people coming on here and not being legit, as well as vendors posing as brides to help business. I guess the tell tale sign of most real brides are posts that sometimes are titled AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH or OMGGGGGGGGGGGG or HELPPPPPPPPPPP followed by

There was one yesterday or the day before that had like only 4 posts, really noncommittal things, then her 5th post was a RAVE about a limo company.. with a little TMI... and there was no personal info on this persons page. It was pretty obviously a vendor... and if they can't do a better job than that of posing... well I wouldn't trust them to work for me

Hmmm interesting I never really thought about fake 'brides' but I kind of think that is really hilarious and quiet sad at the same time. I think I am going to become cautious about RAVES.

I don't think I've ever posted a 'rave' because I'm not married yet and my vendors haven't really done their jobs yet.
I have had some BAD experiences (bridal shops, travel agent, etc) but I never name names.

I don't think they profit too much if you choose one color over another though

I did get some wierd forum mails on three diff occasions from people with only 1 or 2 posts asking me how much my RH was costing me per head and other wierd personal questions. I just ignored them. I felt bad but I really didnt think it was legit and even if it was, why couldnt the person just call the RH themselves and get a quote. Everyones prices are diff depending on date, time of day, number of guests, etc. Very wierd

I think its crazy you are't allowed to really 'vent' on here, and if you do, you get booted very quickly...definately makes me think there are fakes lurking...

This is a great post because like many others I didn't even think that some of the vendors would do that! But it does totally make sense. All you fakes should be ashamed of yourselves!!

Wait, if you post something bad about a vendor you get booted? Like they cancel your account? What's the point of the reviews then?
