I know a lot of older women who had a small wedding or eloped and regret the decision they made. Yes it costs a lot - but its the only chance you will get.
I went to Breezes this December and witnessed a wedding there. Not to say it was terrible but I would have been very disapointed if I had went that route.
That was my dream wedding (believe it or not). However, to appease my fiance's side of the family, we are having the traditional wedding reception/ceremony. It is costing us a small fortune and we are trying to cut down on costs where we can. It is a bit annoying to me that out of the 160 people on our invite list (I only wanted 100 at the reception and look how it has grown) almost 100 are from his side of the family! UGGhh.
I wish we could just run away to Hawaii.
