My FI and I signed the first draft of the contract written by the seller's lawyer. Does that mean we are in contract?

unfortunately until you get the contracts back signed by the sellers, you are not officially IN contract.

I was the same way, but it took over a month to get our contracts back b/c the sellers needed to find a house. Until the contracts are signed by both parties, anything can happen! It stinks!
