Re: Are you afraid....

not really.. FH and I are trying not to spend a huge amount of money but we still know what we want and the quality that we want. So we def shop around but pick for quality and price. FH is good about the moeny stuff, he would never get on my case about it!

My FH is a cheap-a$$ so YES. I lie all the time.

He saw the 2 florist quotes and said 'never show me that again'. HAHA But he didn't complain too much.

He saves his whole paycheck so he feels like he is paying for the wedding, but I pay ALL of the bills and save money too.

I think some things are costing more b/c i just enver knew what they cost before planning. We are under on some things, but over on others so it all comes out fine.

I think I broke him of the cheapassness b/c last week, he said, get what you want, just tell me how much $ you need.

I said i HAVE MY OWN $ THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!

to sometimes tell your FH what a certain vendor is costing and even though you love this vendor to death, you still afraid he's gonna say no??

FH gave me a budget for our photographer. It's about $1000 under what HE wants. I got a big NO NO NO from him.

What to do?? What to do??

Do you guys have similar scenerios with your FH???

if its a difference of $1,000 from the budget he wants, have you considered putting in the extra thousand to cover it so this way you both get what you want

hahaha totally...i kind of have to fib a little on the hair and makeup prices. And i'm not using expensive people...he just doesn't get why it costs so much. I cut the prices in half...and he STILL thinks it's too much. hahaha oh well.

lol happened once or twice but then i just turned around and said I'll pay for it since its what i want and that ends the conversation. He still makes faces about the price of my dress and i don't know why, i tell him 'did you pay for any of it, then don't complain'

i figured its the easiest solution

That is excatly what I told him girl. And you know what he turns around and say:

' Well your money is OUR money and that therefore makes it MY money to'

well then even more so, if he says 'OUR money' then you two have to make the decision together

honestly i would laugh at him and just ok then and ignore it...when we will live together and split the bills then its different but if im working for my money myself and i want something and willing to pay for it myself without asking for help then personally i don't see him having any say in that...And FH would NEVER say it bc he is the one who is the shopaholic and he doesn't want me to tell him NO you can't buy this or buy that...At this point all decisions go through me lol
