exchanging gifts before the wedding?? chris and i decided not to, our gift to each other is the wedding. just wondering what other brides are doing.

He really could care less if he gets a present or not, but I might surprise him. He hasn't gotten a new watch in about 4 years, so maybe I will get that.

sincwe we just bought a car, we're just giving cards. he's going to give it to one of my sisters and i'm going to give it to his best man. we'll be opening it tomorrow morning

no, we did for the engagement, well my ring and i bought him an expensive watch a few weeks later. Our HM is our gift to each other!

Though we haven't spoken about it I would suspect we won't buy anything for each other. We'll be tapped out by that point and I just couldn't imagine having the time to go shopping.

we are paying for the wedding for ourselves so I know he will not want to exchange.

I would like to get him something since I did get a very nice ring and didn't get him anything for our engagement, but I think he will be upset because he really wants me to save money and stop spending!!!

So I am not sure, I will see how our money situation is.

probably not. If we do decide to do a wedding gift, we will probably just get something bigger for both of us and our new house (assuming we are moved in by then!)

I didn't get my FH an engagement gift and he actually said something to me about it (FBIL just got engaged and FSIL got him a bracelet) so I will be giving him a gift for the wedding. I have no idea what though.
