exchanging gifts before the wedding?? chris and i decided not to, our gift to each other is the wedding. just wondering what other brides are doing.

Yes, i'm almost positive FH is going to get me earrings to wear at the wedding (he pretty much told me not to buy any) and i'm going to get him cufflinks probably. Definitely something we can both wear at the wedding though.

I bought him his wedding band for our 10 th dating anniversary on Monday. That's what I'm considering my wedding gift to him.

We haven't discussed it at all, but in the hope springs eternal category, I went to Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji on vacation before he asked and while there bought him a wedding gift. He has no idea, and since I found the chat page in the history on his computer yesterday, that is all I am willing to say about it.
And if he is reading this . . . I hope it drives you crazy from now until October 2006, and as a result you stop reading my posts.

We have said no gifts- just cards because we are paying for the wedding ourselves but I want to get him a watch and have it engraved so I might suprise him with that.

wow. i see i'm not alone. since we are paying for the majority of the wedding, we see the gifts as kind of pointless - this is just me and him, whatever anyone else is going is not my concern.
hopefully, he'll send me flowers the morning of the wedding

I dont think we can afford it. We are paying for a lot of the wedding ourselves. We will just splurge a little on the honeymoon. We are each other's gifts :)

I think we are going to. Nothing too crazy though. Something that we can both wear on the day and then pass on to our children and so on. I am going to get him cuff links engraved with his initials
