We already have a joint account, and its closed for withdrawls. We're trying to save as much as we can for the wedding.

we have a joint savings and checking. We opened when we first got engaged- start saving for wedding.

we also have seperate accounts.

Since I am moving to UK, we will open a joint account there when I'm over for New Years. We will leave money in an account here also--my student loans are on direct withdrawal from my checking, so if we keep that open and active, we won't have an problems re-establish credit when we return to the states...fingers crossed...

Me too. FH does not have a bank account of his own so he give me his $$ and I put it in mine. However next week I am putting his name on the account.

We are getting a joint account for household bills. (morgage, electric...etc.) But we are keeping our seperate account for personal bills and seperate money.

We got a joint account as soon as we got engaged. We pay all the bills together.

We are going to maintain seperate accounts for child support issues, however either he gives me money or I give him money to pay bills. We have had no problems yet so we are just going to keep things the way they are. We will probably get some type of joint account when we purchase a house.
