I am debating whether or not i want to use fake flowers or real flowers for my brides bouquets.
If you used fake flowers please tell me your experience with this.

my mom's handling flowers and when i told her i didn't mind fake b/c this way i could have them forever, she replied 'NO DAUGHTER OF MINE IS GETTING MARRIED WITH NO FAKE FLOWERS!!' So, real flowers it is!!

real flowers for my bo-k, fake for the throw bo-k. I have seen fake bo-k's. Some look realy nice...you have to actually touch them to see if it's real. Others, well, you have to watch where you go. Personally, I really like real flowers...they are fragrant and beautiful.

Re: Are you bouquets going to be...
My MOH got married eight years ago and she had fake (here DH is allergic) and let me tell you she had the most gorgeous calla lily high centerpieces (one of which I still have in my home). I was all for going the fake flower route but mom wants reall and since it seems to be 'her' wedding anyway real it is.

My friend had silk flowers and they were a lot lighter to carry and obviously looked good all day. It was nice b/c she was married in Nov. & had them overlayed on green velvet hand muffs. Very nice.
