Are you/DH a morning person or night owl ?

I am totally a morning person. I like to have that cup of coffee at 8am and start the day...
DH is the opposite

he could sleep the day away IF I LET HIM

(that hasnt happened since his bachelor days

)...
When we were dating, he'd be UP all nite, online, watching tv, etc...and then on weekends he'd be SOOO EXHAUSTED to do anything anytime before like 3pm..
If he sleeps past 10am on a weekend that we have a day of errands planned, I get SOOO ANNOYED because the day is SHOT.

In the summer he is more of a morning person, because he loves going by the water (Weather its the river or beaches nearby)....

ever since I can remember, I keep my shades shut and turn on all the lights so I can pretend it's night!

Morning person here !!! love to get up early and start the day as soon as the sun comes up!!! DH really has no choice cause i OPEN all the shades and turn the radio or tv on, then the dogs are all up and ready to go, so he gets up too!!!

I'm turning into a morning person. Used to be a night owl, stay up till 3 sleep past noon. Now if i sleep past 9 i feel i've wasted time. On the weekend we make sure we go to bed normal time (11ish) and wake at 8ish. BUT my FH is sooooo not a morning person. It's almost impossible to get him up on a weekday ... so you can imagine weekends. If l let him he would sleep ALL day. I don't know how he does it. After 7 hours (8 tops) im up, and wide awake.
I do HAVE TO have my coffee in the morning though... otherwise don't mess with me!!!

DH is a morning person all the way. His idea of sleeping in is waking up at 8.30. I am more of a night person - I can stay up watching tv, playing on the computer or straightening up. Every once in a while I get up raring to go - but not often:)

Both morning birds Anna! We'd rather get to bed early to wake up and start the next day early instead of going to bed and waking up late!

we usually stay up very late and sleep very late (on weekends when we can)...BUT we both function so much better when we sleep early and get up early...so we're probably night owls who really should be morning people, but we fight it!!!

I'm neither. I am in bed by 11 most nights and up by 7 for work. On the weekends I sleep in as late as I can. I also don't stay up late on the weekends unless we are out somewhere.

DH is a night person. He stays up until after 2 sometimes, because he doesn't have to get up until after 9 most mornings. The last time he said he had to get up early, I asked him what time that was, and he said 'by 9:30' I laughed - I've already had my first 1 hour of work.

Im a morning person...DH is a night person.

I want to get up on weekends and do things around the house...he wants to sleep...then at 10pm he wants to start doing 'projects'. I dont think so buddy!! LOL...Im ready for bed!

Anna, we're similar to you. But I have a 'permission' to wake him up at 11AM if he is still asleep. Sometime, if we're out late, we both get up late, but I'll still wake up early, just go back to sleep then.

Rob is a morning person but I am a night owl. I work a night shift from 8pm-9am 3 nights a week. But I guess my body is on that schedule all week. On my nights off I can't get to sleep until 2 or 3 in the morning and I have trouble waking up until 10 or 11am. I am usually groggy all day but get my blast of energy starting at like 6pm.
