Are you friendly/social?

I used to be very shy. Now I'm much more outgoing. I feel a little reserved with people I don't know at first, but open up right away if the group is friendly and easy to talk to.

I think I have a good balance between wanting to be social, and wanting to be alone.

Unfortunately, working at home is isolating and you don't get to be around people too much during the day.

And I lost a few 'friends' along the way while planning the wedding. I think a few other girls from the board did, too. What the heck is with women and jealousy anyway???

SO, I'm not as social right now as I'd like to be!!!

I am exactly like you, nvrbrd. I prefer spending time with my FH, or my small group of close friends.

I am very shy, so it is hard for me to meet people, because I never know what to say to people. I s u c k at small talk. People always think I am a b**ch because I never want to go out with others from work, or whatever. But, it's just because of the shyness. Sometimes I think others fail to realize that there are painfully shy people out there.

Im actually very shy, quiet and keep to myself...

I dont know where my sister and I came from because my 2 brothers are our exact opposites (no theyre not twins too ! (Everyone asks that !)
My sister and I can be somewhere for an hour and meet half of the place. and my brothers can be there for 2 days and will only know eachother!

Last year I threw a big 60th for my MIL, and I dug up ph#'s of old friends and relatives that she hadnt seen in AGES, and chatted with them and made sure they can be there for her special day. Hubby (my opposite) wanted a small 15-people thing. Little did he know, it would turn out to be 65 people in our house/backyard !! It makes me happy to see family and friends sharing good times.

At my jobs, I was always the one that persnoally knew everyone from the bathroom attendants, the janitors, the stock guys, and even the President of the company and his staff... Im just a people person...

I am a very shy person at first. Until you get to know me - then you can't get me to shut up

I am just like you described!! I am a very insecure person and I always think people don't like me (especially when Frankie is not around) so I tend to be more quiet in big groups, unless I am comfortable!!

I agree with you that the boards have allowed me to be more social!
