we went to ours...it was the best decision we ever made. we went to about half of it and were able to get the greetings out of the way and got to enjoy EVERY minute of our reception without having to go around greeting everyone. we're just upset we didnt get to enjoy the cocktail hour food, we heard it was amazing.

I'm not. I'm staying up in the suite. Being downstairs before they annouce us will only slow us down..I want to enjoy all the food and drinks!! Probably the only time I will really get to eat! Plus I will have all my family and close friends up there so I am set! I think FH is going to go down..we all know it's about the bride! I refuse to go!!!...LOL

Yup, for the whole thing....I think it's the best part of the wedding and I don'tg want to miss it!

I wish I had been able to. But to be honest the time to take pictures was soo tight, I barely had time for anything before hand. Luckily I was able to see the cocktail hour before the guest went in & the same for the reception hall.

If you can get time for the cocktail hour go for it. If you can't it isn't that big a deal either!!

Most definitely! FH and I want to be at the majority of it. We plan to greet most people then. Plus it is FH's favorite part of a wedding!

Yepp... We are definitely going... We have soo much food (that I will probably be to nervous to eat), Ice sculptures, culinary displays wine and martini stations, I definitely can't miss that!
