Are YOU guilty of any of these 'Wedding Etiquettes'
I came across this article and was chuckling at some of the things on the list in regards to 'Wedding Etiquettes'. Do you ladies agree with this list?Wedding Etiquette

i don't believe in the handwriting the guest list thing. I am using labels because the envelopes get thrown out right away and it's not worth the extra money to get them printed nicely. So many people don't follow the proper wedding traditions now, and I feel that the 'writing the addresses' tradition needs to go! lol.. nobody is going to notice/remember if you used labels anyway

I don't believe someone is paying $30 a plate for their filet mignon. WHERE IS THE $30 FILET MIGNON??!!

Pretty sure my guests would prefer pre-printed labels than my handwritting! Not that its bad but when it comes to writting envelopes I tend to get slanty

LOL! You ladies are hilarious. I agree with that using labels is not so bad at all on invitations. I did write out the addresses on the Save-the-Dates but may use labels for the invitations.I didn't agree with 'inviting' etiquette in which you should invite an aunt, even if you don't know them. No I will not. If I don't like you, I don't want you there. Period. LOL
But the article does have a point about the registry and gift giving. I think some couples get too caught up in that and set themselves up for disappointment when they don't receive a monetary or gift at all. Because in truth, the guests are not obligated to give a gift. But you hope they do! ;o)

i don't agree on handwriting the labels I printed out my save the dates and will likely print the invitation labels as well. The other one I was curious about is the sending an invite to someone who says they can not make it after receiving the save the date. This has happened to me but I feel that it is rude not to send the invite if I sent the save the date... what do you ladies think?

I guess the author felt you might as well save your stamp and invitation if the guest has made it clear they won't be attending.

I had this happen to me... It was FSIL's mother in law. FSIL said to send the invite anyway as she might change her mind. STD's were sent out a year before the wedding.
