Are you having a Viennese Hour or something similar?

I want to have it because FH's family is italian and I feel like they'll be expecting it. But FH doesn't want to spend the extra money and if we did have one then the reception wouldn't end until 1:30am! He feels no one will stay that late so it's a waste. I'm thinking of doing maybe just the extra dessert plates but I think FH's family will think we're cheap.

What about you girls?

Between the CH and the meal and cake, that's already so much food.

I was so against it, but I have to say that people definitely stayed for it and STILL talk about it over 2 years later.

We had a full Viennese Hour, I think people look forward to that as much as they do Cocktail Hour.

we had one & it was a big hit!!! To watch all the older guests walk around like kids was so much fun!!! I do not think it was a waste of money in our case & if I did it all over again, I would have done the same!!! Plus, most of our guests took items home from the VH for the next day!!!
