A lot of friends have started asking me if they can plan an AFTER PARTY after the wedding - UGH!!!! As if I really want to do this!! I'll be exhausted. I'm thinking if ppl. want to go out afterwards they can meet at the hotel bar. Right? Is anyone else organizing something?!?!? TIA!
Our wedding is over at 6:30 so we blocked rooms at a hotel with a bar open till 4am. This way we can rest after the wedding and then catch up on some of the day.
OUr wedding is over at 11pm and we are planning on going to the bar where we met and got engaged after the wedding. It is where we usually end up after everything when we are in NY and we don't want our wedding to be any different. NOt to mention that we met and got engaged there, how can we not be there the day we get married. The bar is only 10 minutes from our reception hall and hotel, so it shouldn't be a big deal.
I wasn't at work yesterday, so I'm sorry for my delayed response. I'm not sure yet....and yes, my wedding is next week. There's a separate bar at the Woodlands that our BM said he'd keep open for a fee...and since our reception ends at 11, we're seriously considering it.
