are you having everyone introduced at the reception
FH wants all grandparents, all parents and then the bridal party (5 of each) and then us.
Is that too many people to introduce?

Re: are you having everyone introduced at the reception
We have no living grandparents, but we did have our parents, the BP (in pairs) and us announced at the reception.
We would not have had grandparents announced if they were living, though (I've never seen that done). However, if your FH really wants it done, no harm in it!
We had 14 people in our BP + our parents. There was a lot of announcing!

yeah, i mean, it is one of the only things that he has requested be done for the wedding, I guess I can let him do it

Ah, see, now THAT is something important to take into consideration.
Maybe you two should ask the grandmothers if they would like to be announced or if they would prefer to be acknowledged at their seat the reception. This way, you can still acknowledge them, but don't have to worry about them walking in.
See what they say!

Re: are you having everyone introduced at the reception
I just called him and he said that the reason we 'need' the grand parents introduced is because of the timeing in the song. If we didn't have them then the timing would be off and we would be coming in to early for our 'grand entrance' (we are using the theme from Rocky, LOL)
ARE YOU SERIOUS!!

Re: are you having everyone introduced at the reception
AWWWWW well if thats the only thing he's asked about then you have to let him have it! We only introduced our parents and the BP because my Grandmother couldnt walk that much. It was hard enough for her to get around the grounds at East Wind...she said she felt like she walked the length of a football field just to get to the ceremony site there!!
Im sure your Grandparents would Love to be spotlighted that way and if it makes your FH happy then go for it!!

Re: are you having everyone introduced at the reception
We did that. We had DH's grandparents, my grandmother and both of our parents introduced before out bridal party. It was a lot but these are the most important people they deserve to be introduced.

Didn't realize it was such a heated debate! LOL I think considering two out of the three grandma's can't walk that well, we may just aknowledge them and then come in with the parents, then bridal party and then us.
Thank you ladies for all your help. This board is so great for all these little questions.
