Are you having rules....

Re: Are you having rules....

I think having the same dress on is quite enough of a rule.

If I find great jewelry - i will give it to them but I will give them other gifts as well. I don''t expect they will have a ton of uses for pink beaded jewelry.

I want them to look their best and I would be horrified if anyone todl me how to wear my hair.

i do hope they will have their hair done though

I tried to be very easygoing with my girls. I tried to get them to pick there own dresses, separates were fine with me but theye were so lax about it that I picked them. I did try and pick something that was not too bridesmaidish. I did not care about hair, make-up or jewelry-I left that all up to them. That all worked out fine. I did ask them to get dyeable shoes which they did not get in time. I then specifically asked for all open toed shoes which I didn''t get either. My girls were not the most cooperative as you can see. I think the shoe thing is worth being bridezilla about. It looks strange in pictures.
Other than that, I don''t think anything else is that noticeable.

I bought them their jewelry for the wedding day as part of their BM gift so it all matched. I requested that they wear either matching (burgundy) or black shoes. They did their hair and makeup however they wanted!

No rules either- wear whatever shoes you want, get your nails done any way you want and get your hair done any way you want. I figure they all spent the money for the dress, they can do whatever else they want.

My rules:

you can wear your hair however you want
you can wear whatever shoes you want (as long as they match)
wear what ever bling bling you want... Seriously though, they all have good taste.

I didn''t have rules.
I bought there jewelry so they wore them.

But hair, shoes I told them whatever they were comfortable with.

We went to the salon together & I had a make-up lady at the house. They were able to use her if they wanted. My girl even added some touches to the girls that did their own make-up.

I was in a wedding 2 years ago. His sister said that his niece didn''t need make-up or her hair done(she was 15). Well lets just say it wasn''t pretty. her hair was in her face in EVERY picture. It looked bad!!! If I was the bride I would of made her put her hair up in the front.
