Are you inviting signifiacant others..

to the rehearsal dinner? I thought we were just going to to the wedding party and OOT guests. I was reading up on proper ettiquite and it says to invites spouses of the wedding party. Does that mean we have to invite fiances of the wedding party too?
One more thing.. DO we mail the priest and his wife an invitation to the rehearsal dinner?

No, we are keeping it for the people who are involved with the ceremony only.

People involved in the ceremony only. I think it is a little rude, but I had no choice. I explained it personally to all of them, and they were fine with it. Our RD is short, and all the SO's will come meet us at the bar when it is over!

We invited everyone with their spouse/fiances/boyfriends/girlfriends. We did not invite single wedding party members with guests.

When i was dating DH and engaged to him i was in wedding parties as well and he came with me to both rehearsal dinners.

We are inviting our BP with there spouse, fiance,boyfriend/girlfriend.

Since we are having a very big BP and we are already looking at around 60-65 people at the RD, we arent inviting the singles with guests..

No the only exception we made was for my dh's sister. She is engaged and her fiance was our reader and wanted to practice the reading at the church that night.
Everyone in our bridal party was dating someone at the time and it would have doubled our RD bill

We are inviting everyone with guest - whether it be girlfriend/boyfriend, date, or spouse. No one in our bridal party will bring someone just for the hell of it, so I'm just putting '& guest' and letting them make the call. Only about 3 out of our bridal party are not 'attached', so I won't be concerned if they bring dates.

all of groomsman most likely will not be invited with guests therefore (they all will be OOT people ) and they will go to RD alone-

my bridesMAN- is from LI and wont be invited with his gf

My bridesmaid from Out of state will be invited with her BF

MY MOH will be married at that point- she is an out of stater too and will be invited with husband

My other BM is from LI and her SO will not be invited

I was not invited to a RD with FH and I was offended. I got over it and I understand now but my first reaction was to be really offended. There were no exceptions made and I would have been really mad if someone else was invited with their SO.

everyone in our bridal party is either married, engaged or in a very serious relationship, so everyone is invited with their significant other.

nope, we are strictly keeping it to anyone in the bridal party or readers. we spoke to all the significant others and quite frankly noone even cared that they werent invited.

we have a pretty small bridal party, so we're letting the 'attached' people bring their significant others... even with doing that, we only have 25 people invited... i guess it depends on how many people you have, and how many you can afford to invite....
