We are hoping to leave the next day in the afternoon. Our friends left the night of their day wedding and my sister hasn't even gone on a honeymoon yet and she got married last year!
So, just curious what everyone else is planning to do?

our wedding is 9/9 so we are leaving on the 12th b/c i didn't want to leave the day after and i'm NOT flying on 9/11... so the next day.

Our wedding is Saturday night. The next day, we're going to a bed and breakfast on the north fork for two nights, just to escape and be together. We're taking our real honeymoon next winter, but haven't booked yet--we just know we want to go somewhere warm!

Our wedding is on a Sunday night, we are leaving Tuesday morning (so we have time to pack and sleep on Monday!)

Wedding is Saturday and we are leaving on Monday evening. Direct flights to Tahiti only leave Mon, Wed, Friday.

Life just got in the way.......i'm not too sure if they were really interested in having a honeymoon though. I think in a couple of years they may do something......for an anniversary or something like that!

We are leaving 5 weeks after the wedding because FSIL is my MOH and well lets put it this way... On our wedding day She will be 2 weeks from her DUE DATE!! Thats right way prego! I dont wanna miss her having the baby so we want to wait till we are an aunt and uncle for the first time and then we will go! I think giving her till Mid august she'll have that baby!
That is sooooo sweet of you guys! I bet your FSIL is so happy about that!!!!!!!!!!

Our wedding is on a Friday night and we are leaving on that Sunday. We wanted to stay one day afterwards and deposit money, say goodbye to everyone, etc.

we would have left earlier but the direct flights to tahiti are only certain days!

were leaving a week after- weare in no rush we both are teachers so we figured wed spread it out a bit to give us time to settle everything

Wedding is Sunday night and Monday is a holiday so we are leaving Monday night for Miami and then Belize. There is a brunch Monday morning and then we spend the rest of the day hanging out. And signing checks that my mom wil deposit for us!!! We are actually going to the airport with a bunch of our OOT guests so that will be even more family time! Actually i think some of FH's Jamaican relatives may wind up on the same Miami flight as us!!!

Wanted to first say hi to my date twin! We are also waiting a few days or possibly a week before we go on our honeymoon. We're getting married on Veteran's Day and since most people have off from work the next day, we were gonna have a brunch the next afternoon and I wanted to be able to spend time with people from OOT and other family. Plus, if we can use my MOH's father's timeshare in Aruba, we may not be able to go until December or January because all of November is booked if not, then we will probably leave that Tuesday or Wednesday after to go to Aruba and stay at the Occidental.
