I am not having them wear the same hairstyle. I hadn't even though of that.
They will be wearing the same dress. I think they should at least be able to retain some individuality by wearing their hair in the way they feel flatters them most. Besides, not all BM's have the same type or same length hair so it's not necessarily attainable anyway. Not everyone looks good in the same style, either.

I let them do what they wanted but requested they have them done in some way so it was 'finished' looking. One BM has really short hair, so obviously she didn't do anything. The other girls were mixed with 1/2 up and all up. Some had 'trendy' 'dos and others had 'classic.' It fit their personalities. They looked great!
The picture is coming out a little blurry, but I think you get the idea...

Definitely not telling them how to wear their hair nor am I having them all wear the same style. I really dislike the cookie-cutter look (with anything, actually). I think pictures would look worse with them all having the same hair - when they all can't possibly look their naturally fabulous selves in one, uniform hair style.

i didnt. everyone feels differently abou themselves and is confortable in their own style. of course they all knew to lookk nice! but i trusted them. its was more important for me to have everyone feel good than what it wouldnlook like in pictures

Thanks girls! I knew I should have stuck with my gut instinct, but I always let others confuse me! (I should stop listening)
My hairdresser btw is my aunt and I just realized her wedding was full of poofy dresses and lots of french braids (yuck...JMO)...Why do I listen!
I think I will just find something I like and if the BMs ask (and only if they ask) I will say show them the pic, but overall let them choose what works for them in the end.

here is a shot of my bridesmaids with their different hair.....none of them are the same, but it's still obvious that they are all there for the same wedding

i want my girls to show thier individuality and make the dresses their own...i AM (i think) requesting that they dont wear necklaces. I dont want to take away from the neckline on their dresses

No, everyone is different and they are wearing different dresses. I would not ask them to do such a thing.

Here are my girls. I told them they could wear their hair anyway they wanted to. I think they all wore them up.

my BM have all the same skirts, jewlery and pocketbooks, however, their tops shoe style and type of up do's is their choice.... as long as its up I am happy.
