Are you registering for a kitchen aid mixer?

i dont really bake and think a handheld mixer is good enough for us. Am I the only one who feels this way? I feel like a K A mixer is like 'the' registry item.

Yes I did and I hope and pray I get it!! I love to bake and it is a must. I hate my little hand mixer- gets batter everywhere lol I told my sister that if the BP was to get me anything- then get me that!!!!

if you bake and cook.. it is an amazing item.. my mom has always had it so i grew up using it.
people usually just bake with it.. but i mix meatballs and meatloaf in it so i dont have to touch the meat.. and i use it to make mashed potatoes, sweet ptatoes, spinach quiche, in addition to all the baking you can do with it.. so for me it was an absolute must have-- it makes life so much easier!

We registered for one too, I never even thought of using it for all those things and now im even more excited. I have the beginnings of carpal tunnel or arthritis in my hands so holding things (like spoons or a hand mixers) after a while really hurts my hands.

nope, I don't bake enough. I registered for the KA hand one in pink, and someone already bought it for me!

I originally did, but then decided to take it off, I really don't need it. I'd rather get something that I will use more often.

i bake but never anything from scratch - so i really dont see any need for one - FMIL makes a lot of things from scratch like breads, pastas and dough and i dont think she uses any kind of mixer at all (not positive but ive never seen her use one) - i couldnt imagine myself using it even once so we didnt register for it either
