Are you requesting your BM's wear their hair the same? What about shoes?
I have decided I'll have my girls wear whatever style or heel height they want, except that I want their shoes to be silver.
As far as their hair, I want them to all decide if they want to have it up or down. I'd prefer all down or half up, half down but I want them to be consistent. Do you think thats a little bridezilla-ish?

yes i do ... i think every girl knows how their hair looks best and you shoudld let them choose what makes them feel pretty

As for their hair I dont care as long as its not the exact same as mine. I do want their shoes to match but that's because they'll be wearing tea-length dresses.

Yes. I hate my hair all up (it puts me in a bad mood) and I would not be happy if I had to wear it that way as a BM. It would make the day uncomfortable for me and make me feel unattractive. Also, I like when people's personalities and styles come out in pictures. A uniform bridal party reminds me of the rockets. Just my opinion of course.
Another example, my sister has a large scar as she is a cancer survivor. She covers it with a thick choker necklace every day. If someone asked their bridesmaids not to wear a necklace or to wear something dainty - this would put her in a very difficult place and be very unfair. You have to take your friends for who they are.
As for shoes, I think requesting silver ones is super reasonable!

I think I want all the girls to wear the same shoe only bc the dresses are tea length so you really se them, but I'm not even 100% about that. I might just tell them to get silver.
They can do their hair however they want, I don't really care about that either.

I told them buy whatever shoes they want as long as they're silver. I also told them do their hair however- they can get it done or do it themselves.

ITA... i dont care about the shoes because I want their dresses to be long enough to not be able to see the shoes anyway

I am letting my girls do their hair however they want and wear whatever shoes they want. I might put a color into place for the shoes. To me it was important for them to be able to pick out whatever shoes they feel most comfortable in. I didn't want to have some girls walking around in pain all day and night. It's a long day and I think comfortable shoes are sooo very important. With the hair, I am letting them do whatever they want.. just as long as they don't have the same hairstyle as me.
There's a girl I know who got married and she let them do whatever hair style they wanted but they couldn't have a side sweeping bang bc that's what she was doing.. and one of her BM threw a fit over it! She likes attention and just couldn't understand why she couldn't have the side sweeping bang and blew the whole situation out of porportion - even calling the bride a bridezilla! I'm a tad nervous about this.. bc she is also one of my BM's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I'm just preparing myself for her!

matchy hair...IMO is a bit bridezilla. I HATE my hair up and HATE when a bride tells me to wear it up. I'm a grown woman and already know what works best for me.
My girls have tea length dresses but I'm fine whatever is on their feet so long as it's in the silver family.

ITA! I also hate my hair up! I never want to show off my fat neck! Ha ha ha! So I would really HATE being told to wear my hair up!

I trust my girls so I'm letting them wear their hair how they want and let them pick their own shoes.
They know what style they look best in.

i don't care how my bm's wear their hair. For shoes I just told them get something black and strappy. But in general I'm pretty laid back with my bm's I let them pick out the dress I personally want all of my girls to feel great about what they are wearing.

No. . .I'm letting them decide what they want for their hair as individuals. I told them to wear silver sandals, but the kind of sandal doesn't matter to me.

My BM's are wearing their hair the same way. I know it's a little Bridezilla-ish but I have 8 girls and I don't want too much going on. I also wanted them to be slightly different from my own hairstyle so that's why I am having them wear a low side pony-tail.
As for shoes, they could wear any silver shoe.

I did the exact same. told them wear there hair how they look best and whatever shoes as long as its silver b/c there dresses are long no ones gonna see it anyway
