I have decided I'll have my girls wear whatever style or heel height they want, except that I want their shoes to be silver.

As far as their hair, I want them to all decide if they want to have it up or down. I'd prefer all down or half up, half down but I want them to be consistent. Do you think thats a little bridezilla-ish?

since we changed from tea length to full length i told my girls i don't care what shoes they wear as long as they are shoes with at least a little heel not sneakers

I am letting them do whatever. And same goes for shoes. The dresses are long so they won't show the shoes.

Well, maybe I'm a bridezilla too, because I am giving my suggested input for the hair and shoes.

First off, the dress is long, so even though the shoes themselves don't matter, the height is very important to me. I want them to wear ballet flats, and I'm not apologizing for it. First off, it saves the expense of them having to buy a pair of shoes to change into for comfort for later in the evening. Second, FH is short, and I'm just trying to make him as comfortable as possible that all of the girls aren't looming over him. It's bad enough that I do barefoot, and he gets funny about it, so I don't want to exacerbate it. Plus, I'm the tallest naturally, and I will be in flats, so I don't want to be shorter falsely because someone is cheating in heels. Ok, that's bridezilla.

For hair, I'd prefer if it was all up or all down...I'm doing half, and I don't want the same hair. But the top of the dress has a large bow embellishment, so really all up will look best so as to not compete with the neckline. Most of the girls are leaning towards different types of updos, but the looser, more messy kinda, so I'm happy with that so far.

So I'm not demanding it lol...but it's my preference and they know that.

My BM dresses are long so I told them to wear whatever type of shoe they wanted.. I didn't give a specific color but I gave them a range (ie: pink, brown, copper, silver..anything they think will semi-match!) As for hair, I told them they could do whatever they want.. I really do not have a preference either way.

My girls can do their hair however they are most comfortable and for shoes they can wear whatever style they like as long as they are dyed to match the dress.

My girls can wear their hair however they like and they can pick whatever shoe they like as long as it matches the dress. They are wearing tea length dresses but I don't care about shoes matching. I want them to be comfortable.

But I have been in weddings where we had to match everything. And I don't think its Bridezilla...its just a preference.

I think I'm the most laid back bride...my FSIL actually yelled at me (not mean...but just b/c...LOL) b/c she was originally growing her hair out to wear up, but I was like, no you can def. keep it short! LOL. I'm letting them all wear their hair however they want. And I'm paying for half their hair so they only have to pay $35 if they even want to get it done. LOL.

As for shoes...YES...they all must be matching...but I'm looking high and low for CHEAP ones...HAHA> Like $20 a pair! LOL. I only say yes to the same shoes b/c they are mostly all in tea length dresses... lol. Sooo...yeah. LOL none the less, none of them have silver shoes yet...so they will all need to buy another pair...least I can do is make sure they are the same or simular...and cheap haha

lol, imo i don't think ur being bridezilla-ish b/c i requested that everyone in my bridal party wear their hair up....i also like the consistent look

as far as shoes, it can be any style or height as long as it's silver

I guess i was a bridezilla then b/c all my girls had to wear their hair up and i let them buy whatever shoes they wanted, but they all had to be dyed th match their dresses....

The girls are doing whatever they want with their hair. I think this is reasonable than forcing someone to have their hair a specific way. In terms of shoes it's the same. It's their choice. As long as it's something elegant. The girls are capable of making the right choice.

I want my BMs to wear there hair up if possible- I know everyone has a different idea of how they should wear their hair but I have been at some summer weddings where the BMs hair was a mess. I do not want to sound like a B*tch but I do not want that. As for the shoes I told the girls they can pick their own shoe the only requirement is that it is some sort of gold strappy sandal.

I think that everyone will look better if they are comfortablet with how THEY want their hair to look. However, w/ tea-length dresses, I want to make sure their shoes meet my approval LOL
