I am superstitious...not to put shoes on the table, or when I see a black cat cross my path, or to open an umbrella in a building...all bad luck!

Not really a superstition...but I won't sleep with my hands folded on my chest when i sleep. Makes me think of being in a couffin...and if DH is sleeping like that I make him move! Weird I know

My DH designs footwear for a living and has shoes on the table all the time - he thinks it's good luck!

i knock on wood all the time! i guess that does qualify as a supersitition...other than that not really...but i DO believe in karma!

The no shoes on table thing is because when you die, the mortician puts your shoes on the table...at least that's what I've been told.

Yes, I'm superstitious until I find out where the superstition comes from.
