Word on the street is MD is about to be hit with one this weekend. Is the forecast the same for LI?

I just read the weather channel. As long as the wind does not shift a certain way (which they except it not to), we will only have a few show showers with very little accoumulations.

The report on the radio driving home was 3-5 inches starting Friday night ending Noonish on Saturday. Accuweather.com was calling for 4' on Sat., but now they are saying 2' Fri. night, 1.2 on Sat, and another 1.6 on Sunday with temps between 16 and 26 for highs, so all together they are close to the 5'. This is for western Suffolk.

i was just looking on the weatherbug, and it said 1-2 on friday night and another 2-3 on saturday.

A BLIZZARD in MD?!?!?! I am supposed to leave Sat. morning to go to Baltimore for a few days!!!

And Channel 11 is calling for snow starting tonight ending tomorrow afternoon with 2-4 inches. Than more snow sunday and monday.

Lisa, we are supposed to get up to 4 inches tonight and then another 2 to 4 inches Saturday. It is supposed to continue to snow through Sunday and into Monday, but I haven't heard any predictions yet about the accumulation beyond tomorrow. How are you getting here?

Thanks Becky. We are driving. I keep checking the weather forecast & hopefully we will be okay if we leave early. I do not want to be stuck on the Jersey Turnpike We are coming back Monday & I have heard it is supposed to snow all the way through until then. I hope not!

Good luck! Usually 95 is kept pretty clear and getting down here is realy a straight shot. It hasn't started yet, either, and it should have, so maybe the weather prediction is wrong. Wow, wouldn't that be a huge shocker
