Are you supposed to invite the priest to the wedding

I am getting married at a community church. The pastor marrying us has a wife. Am I supposed to invite them both?? Thanks

I think is is proper ettiquite (sp?). I have heard they dont usually come or only stay a little bit- but I would invite.

Yes, invite him and his wife. Depending on how well they know you they may or may not accept. But it's only right to invite them, I think.

we invited our priest and it looks like he is coming - he is a family friend of my parents for years and watched me grow up....so its different but usually i think you are supposed to invite both!

If you're inviting him than you should invite his wife.

I don't think it is a must that you invite the priest...if you know him for years or if he knows the family, than I would say you should, but if you really don't know your priest/pastor, than I don't think you have to invite him.
