Are you taking photos between the church and reception?
Where are you going? I know some people use CW Post or Old Westbury Gardens. What about any North Fork Beaches for pictures? What if it rains? I hear at the Gardens you have a long walk on grassy areas to get to the mansion. After paying over $350, I don't know if I want to walk in the rain on wet grass. Any exprience from weddings you've been in? Please tell me what you are doing and what you think? Thanks.

We took pictures at our church and at the hall. You can plan on taking pictures at one of those places but have a backup plan in case of bad weather.

We are taking photos at our church. Mom and I went there the other day and they have the most gorgeous pink trees that the top of the cathedral and the spire can be seen right behind it - it is stunning. Also there are enough trees there that it almost looks as if you are in the woods - and the trees will block you from guest seeing you when they arrive (we are taking photos first)
If you have a pretty church or beautiful ground at your reception place you could take a trip there and scope it out take some photos and see what you like - Remember is you go elsewhere you may have to pay large fees for permits -

I have been debating over this for weeks now & I better make a decision cause my wedding is in 8 days!
There is: Oyster bay Arb. (Has a spot inside in case it rains) $125
EAB Plaza-$225
Old Westbury Gardens you an go inside the mansion. $315

OMG- you have to pay for some places!!!! I wanted to go to a beach (have to find one first) b/t my church in Floral Park and the Crest Hollow! I have the time set aside for a stop. If I don't find a beach- I'll have to look into Oyster Bay locations...I will just to straight to the CC.

I am only doing this in case of rain as a back up.
Rain doesn't bother me if I have a nice pic taking spot

We are having all of our pics done at the church and at the reception site. We don't have too much time in between. Our church is at 4:30 and our reception starts at 7.

We took pictures at our wedding site...the Glen Island Harbour Club. I've been to CW Post before and my cousin's pics came out wonderful.
