Are you telling everyone the details of your wedding.

Are your relatives and friends asking you all the detais, such as
1) Whats your wedding song?
2) What are your favors?
3) What are your food choices?
4) How are you wearing your hair?
5) Whats your boquet like?
6) let me see a picture of your dress?
7) How long is your veil?

I'm not trying to sound like a snob, but people can you possibly wait until my wedding day? Does anyone else feel this way.

I definitely feel the same way. There are just somethings I want to wait until the wedding for.

some people ask and I dont really mind telling them.. but noone's layed it out like that! friggin 20 questions, I'd tell them to shove it too

Little things I will tell but I have a pushy aunt whom I love dearly but has to know and see all and she makes me feel so uncomfortable my mom tried ot explain to her I want people to be suprised with certain things like
LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!

I dont mind people asking - only because I am one of those people who like to know details ahead of time myself. Impatient I guess.

The question that I keep getting that I cannot stand is 'Are you nervous' Why would I be nervous to get married? Anxious, excited, can;t wait, YES but nervous - No!!

So many people know everything going on! My invites are DIY so family has been chipping in to help so they all saw them. My mom, MOH (FSIL) and FMIL come with me just about everywhere so they know every detail.

I really don't mind if people know a lot of things, but the one thing I did say I wanted to keep secret is our wedding rings. I'd like the first time everyone sees them to be at the wedding.

I wouldnt tell anyone anything, not even the bridal party about the decor, favors, flowers, bouquets, my dress, by veil, shoes & all the surprise things we did that day. On our wedding day the element of surprise was priceless once we saw everyones face. It was so hard to keep it quiet though, but thats what we wanted...and it was amazing...Something everyone will never forget....

I feel the same way. Certain people I don't mind when they want all of the details, others, I wish would back off. I tell my bridesmaids and my parents everything looking for opinions, but most other people I just tell to wait until the big day!

Yes, I had this problem also. MY MIL kept asking so what color are the dresses, how are you wearing your hair, are you going to do this and are you going to do that.

I am getting a lot of questions as well, and some stuff I don't mind telling, but other stuff I just say is a surprise. I actually tried my dress on at my Dad's one day because I lost some weight and wanted to see how it fit, and my cousin and her husband were over and saw it and I was so POed because I didn't want anyone to see it.

i dont like everyone knowing, but my mom has a big mouth so they probably already do. but i just tell them 'you'll find out soon'

My family and my BMs know most of the details, especially my grandma, since I've been kind of running everything by her to make sure she's included in the planning process. I don't really mind answering questions, but I do want to have some of the 'wow factor' on the big day!
