This is most likely what I will be using as well. As much as I like the Modern Bride ones, for the same price I'd rather buy something that I will be able to use as home decor in the future than something I would never be able to use again.

Re: Are you using a wedding money box?
I am almost positive I am getting one from ACMoore or Michaels. They are a 'trunk' and I plan to use it for wedding keepsakes in the future.

we bought a plain wood trunk from michaels, FH cut a hole in the top and I stained it...still have to add lil touches to it, but this is what is looks like so far...

we are getting ours from for the modern bride. I think its kinda wack that you dont get it till the week before (considering i literally ordered mine a YEAR out from the wedding), but they're always gorgeous so i am excited to see how it turns out!

We are also using For the Modern Bride. Their boxes are AMAZING!! I'm very excited to see how mine turns out, but a little nervous actually, because one of my colors is extremely hard to match, so we shall see. If you click the link and scroll down, you'll see their styles and prices. It's true that you don't get your box until the week or so before the wedding, but for me that wasn't a problem. Good luck!

FH and I made ours. He did most of it. I love the way it came out. I forgot to take a picture of it before bringing it to TC last night. I will ask our photog to take a picture of it at the reception.

Re: Are you using a wedding money box?
We made ours modeled off a modern bride one. It wasn't too expensive to do. We looked around for some boxes in the house until we got the right sizes then bought wrapping paper, brown satin fabric from joann's and lots of ribbon and letter stickers. I'd say I probably spent about $25. After the wedding we'll be taking it apart and keep the boxes since they're from some of our stuff from our registry.

Re: Are you using a wedding money box?
The one thing I would suggest is having one that either you can't get into at all without ripping the whole thing apart (like the big present packages) or having one that locks (mine does.) Cards tend to get stolen, even in the best of economies.
