Save On Crafts has some ridiculously cheap bird cages that you should definitely check out. I'm getting mine from there and it's only $13.39. I chose the bronze for my fall wedding, but they have white ones as well. HTH!!

word of advice.... get the big ones if you buy from them the small ones are just way too small. Also the white ones are always bent and not painted well at all.

I am using FTMB too- kind of weirded out by the fact that you don't get untill a week before but...it is what it is I guess. I just hope it comes out as beautiful as all the other samples I have seen.

We are also using For the Modern Bride. Their boxes are AMAZING!! I'm very excited to see how mine turns out, but a little nervous actually, because one of my colors is extremely hard to match, so we shall see. If you click the link and scroll down, you'll see their styles and prices. It's true that you don't get your box until the week or so before the wedding, but for me that wasn't a problem. Good luck!
its better off, mine came a month before the wedding, i guess now since they have more orders its a week before. But its better bc i had this huge box just sitting in my room taking up space for a month lol. I was happy when i finally dropped it off at the RH

I would check out your local Homegoods store. I went there with my parents one weekend and found this really nice decorative box for like $16 that my dad is going to cut a card slot in and secure it shut. I originally was looking for a birdcage, but the ones I saw were too small. The box I found is perfect and can be used after the wedding. It's worth a shot. Good luck!
