with the veil in front of your face and why or why not?

I am not wearing my veil in front. I have a small wedding on a Saturday at 12:30pm in a small chapel. It would look way to formal.
What is your wedding type? Big church? Is your father walking you down the aisle?

Yes for me....
Probably more because it's tradition.... I think it will be sweet when my dad lifts it off my face as he gives me away.

I am, it's a jewish tradion. FH will come in and put the veil over my face before the ceremony (he has to make sure it's really me under there) and then I'll wear it down for the ceremony until we kiss, I believe.

I didn't because when my sister did for her wedding, she looked like a ghost bride in the pictures. You couldn't see her face in them.

i'll wear it walking down and then when my dad gives me away to FH he will pull my veil off my face.

No blusher. My son is giving me away and I didn't think it was appropriate for me to have a blusher. I think it's all about what you want as opposed to what's the norm nowadays. Whatever makes you happy is what you should go with.

I didn't---I originally wanted to but didn't like the look of it when trying on veils---and then the veil ended up in the middle of my hair in the back and it wouldn't work right. I was happy in the end with everything!
yes... I was dead set agaisnt it but then I tried on a blusher and LOVEDDDD it with my dress.
its only for walking down the aisle and then its done and your face is shown the rest of the day so I dont think it will 'hide' your hair or makeup much

Yes, because I think it's sort of traditional and I want my dad to lift it over my head when he gives me away. BUT If he messes up my hair, I'll kill him at the alter!
