Are you washing your hair the morning of your wedding?

I know it sounds like a weird question but at my hair trial she said to wash it the night before so there arent 'fly-aways'. I honestly dont think I will feel fully clean if I dont wash my hair that morning. What do you guys think? Thanks.

I washed mine that morning. She put on sooo mcuh spray those fly aways wouldn't have stuck up at all!

I will probably do it the day before (not night, but during the day). 'Dirty' hair (not freshly washed) stays better in up-dos. If you do not feel 'fresh', put your hair up in a bun and shower w/o washing your hair or put a shower cap on.

I washed mine the night before.

I washed my hair the morning of the wedding and had no issue with my updo. My hair was in a very large bun and it stayed in all night and i dance all night..

I washed mine the day of my wedding. I know that it is easier to handle slightly dirty hair, but any good stylist knows how to work with clean hair.

I felt the same way thing that I wouldn't feel clean - but I can tell you that I was glad that I did it the night before for a couple of reasons. I had my rehearsal dinner the night before -so I had to do it anyway. I woke up late the morning that I was getting married - did have time to wash it, blow dry it and then use the flat iron. Plus I think my hair came out soooooo much better then when I went for my haor trail - in which I washed it right before. Wash it the night before - its not that bad. :)

I washed mine and blew it out the thursday night before the wedding and took a shower the morning of, my thick hair stayed up better cause it wasn't just washed.

I washed mine about 1 hr before it was put up and it stayed perfect all day and all night. So did all my girls. For some reason I feel greasy if I don't wash my hair in the morning.

I'm having issues with this too!!! I know they say not to but I feel disgusting if I'm not fully clean (including my hair). And, my hair gets itchy too if it's not washed. Talk to Tarale (she told me to wash it the night before too and I have to discuss my cleanliness issue with her too) and explain how much this will bother you, and ask how badly it will affect the hairstyle.

What time is she doing your hair? Myabe you can get up early that day and wash it first thing so that there's as much time as possible between washing it and her doing it?

night before. most days i'll shower at night just so my hair is more manageable.. if i wash it in the morning its poofy and i have flyaways. if i wash it at night and then sleep on it, for some reason that gets rid of them.

I've been told the same, that up-do's are better if you hair is a little 'dirty'.....

I washed my hair the morning of my wedding day. My sylist said not to use conditioner because it makes the hair too soft. I didn't use conditioner and my hair stayed all night.

I washed it the day of and my hair looked awesome!!

I washed mine the morning before, but then again, I never wash my hair everyday- unless of course I was sweaty or swimming in clorine. Frequent washing, and especially drying, it a fast way to dry hair and scalp. I wash my hair every couple of days. You can still take a shower and be clean without having to wash your hair.

I'm washing the night before, it looks alot better than if you wash on the same day.

I had to wash my hair the day of - i wash it everyday ( i know its not that good if you do it, but just have to). I had no problems with my hair.
