Going to throw something at you after the ceremony?

I know that sounds ridiculous.

Rice, bubbles, rose petals, whatever?

I had these light bulb idea. Since we're getting married at the Three Village Inn and are going to take pictures by the Grist Mill (also use to volunteer there as a tour guide in high school), I thought of getting some bags of the cracked corn. I know this probably sounds more ridiculous than rice or whatever, but at least the ducks could eat it! Plus it could be a cute souvenir for guests.

Obviously, I have to check with the RH but just wondering what you ladies are doing.

Is this a stupid question.. what's cracked corn?

I would love to have them throw leaves at us. However a- they might be too light to throw high? b- that's another thing to assemble and add to my DIY anxiety!! So ill probably just 86 this idea. I do like the idea of sparklers though!

The grist mill grinds the corn kernels up to sell as duck feed. It's not ground into a powder. It's like rice maybe smaller.

Yeah I was thinking that too. I just don't want to do bubbles. My friend had bubbles and no one ended up using them! Mine went straight in the garbage.

we did bubbles.. they come out cute in pics!

Oooh I get it. If its hard and rough, I wouldn't. Omg, what if it gets all in ur hair and u can't shake it all out?? . Or goes down ur dress, or gets stuck to ur dress.

Yeah I don't think I'd enjoy having stuff thrown at me. We used ribbon wands and it looked very pretty.

Technically, my Church only allowed bird seed, but we did the streamer throws anyway. We made sure everything was cleaned up before we left and besides, at that point, you're already married, so what are they going to do?
